In 2008 ASIMO had a meeting with Prince Charles during a visit to Miraikan Museum in Tokyo, where ASIMO performed a special dance routine for Prince Charles.

In 2010 Honda debuted its documentary at the "Sundance Film Festival" Utah. Where the film focuses on the interaction of humans with robots like ASIMO. In November 2011 ASIMO was the center of attractions at the first Abu Dhabi Science Festival because it encourages the students to pursue studies in maths, science, and engineering.


On December 2 2011 ASIMO also appeared as a guest in a quiz show named QI. Where ASIMO won with 32 points by serving water to host and by dancing with Jo Brand. ASIMO also had an appearance in a film where a robot assists an aging man to commit his last job as a 'cat burglar'. From that film, ASIMO became the inspiration.
